CouchSurfer is a user-generated content platform. Users upload photos, write descriptions, and post reviews. We provide a mechanism for copyright owners to submit takedown notices and for users accused of infringement to file counter-notices.

Phone: (833) 278-5002
Mailing Address: StanHattie LLC, Attn: DMCA Agent, [Address on file with USCO]
We will acknowledge receipt of a complete, compliant notice within 5 business days. Infringing content will be removed or access disabled promptly following our review.
If content you uploaded was removed due to a DMCA notice and you believe the removal was a mistake or misidentification, you may submit a counter-notice under 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3). Your counter-notice must include:
Send counter-notices to the same Designated DMCA Agent address above. Upon receipt of a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant and may restore the removed content after 10–14 business days unless the complainant files a court action.
In accordance with the DMCA, we maintain a policy of terminating, in appropriate circumstances, the accounts of users who are repeat copyright infringers. We use a three-strike framework:
Counter-notices successfully adjudicated in your favor will not count as strikes. We reserve the right to expedite this process for egregious infringement.
We take intellectual property seriously and will investigate all notices in good faith. We also take abuse of the DMCA process seriously. If we determine that a notice was submitted in bad faith or to suppress lawful expression (e.g., fair use, licensed content), we may disregard the notice, restore content, and pursue legal remedies if appropriate.
